Are You Shortening The Life Of Your Dishwasher?

DATE:

AUTHOR: Joanne Graves

In order for your appliances to work properly and have a long lifespan you need to take care of them by doing certain things – and avoiding doing others!

Today, I wanted to focus on your dishwasher and share with you one of the most common mistakes people do which shorten its lifespan so that you can see whether you do some of them!

Placing Dirty Dishes

Yes, your dishwasher is supposed to clean your dirty dishes, however, you shouldn’t place a place that has a lot of leftovers in it because those food particles will get stuck.

This is why you need to remove the excess food off of your dishes before placing them in your dishwasher.

Using Too Much Detergents

One of the most common mistake people make which shortens the life of their dishwasher is to use way too much detergent. This will cause residue buildup and all sorts of other problems.

Not Using Your Dishwasher When It’s Full

A lot of people tend to place a few kitchen utensils and dishes in their dishwasher, however, in order to ensure a long lifespan you need to use your dishwasher when it’s full.

You will also save water and electricity!

Not Cleaning Your Appliance

Even if your dishwasher is used as a cleaning tool it needs to be cleaned from time to time.

I recommend placing a cup filled with vinegar then running an empty hot cycle once a month. This is a cleaning method that is more than enough to ensure a spotless appliance!

Check your DNS Settings. A 523 error means that Cloudflare could not reach your host web server. The most common cause is that your DNS settings are incorrect.
